Tawana Bain

As CEO at NAC Tawana manages business development, market research initiatives and strategic direction of the firm. Tawana is a leading marketing strategist and visionary with a niche in streamlining outsourced services. In addition to NAC, Bain is Co-Founder of the United States Economic Development Institute (U.S.EDI). U.S.EDI is the go to organization for Economic Impact Data and trends in Supplier Diversity, serving both public and private sectors across the country, and Co-Founder of Q Clin Insights, a clinical research and recruiting firm serving the healthcare and pharmaceutical space.  Bain’s’ clients include Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Humana, Volkswagen, Toyota, Stantec, CH2MHill, AECOM and a plethora of other corporations headquartered across the continental U.S. and Canada. Bain has been featured in Savoy, WE CEO and MBN USA Magazine for her work and success as an African American Women owned company and leader.

Tawana’s leadership skills have lead her enterprise to receive National Recognition and Minority Supplier of the Year for Supplier Excellence by NMSDC, Regional Supplier of the Year by TSMSDC and the Diversity Excellence Award by One Southern Indiana Chamber of Commerce. Her demeanor and true grit make Tawana a positive example for Women and Minority Business Enterprise’s across the globe. Maintaining her future and past client relationships is an effortless task. She believes that in order to best serve the client, she learns about her customers’ needs to the core, and then walks away from the project with a new friend. Her vision and goals keep those around her motivated to reach for more, both in the workplace and in their personal lives.

Tawana has 15 years of experience in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), marketing strategy and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). She is a graduate of Brockport University and holds a BA degree in French Communications with a minor concentration in Computer Science. She attended L ’institute De Touraine in Tours, France, and accomplished proficiency in oral and written French Communications. Bain has become a pioneer in educating organizations on outsourcing best practices, mapping organizational processes, developing strategic Business Process Outsourcing Assessments, managing its critical elements and the lifecycles of business process outsourcing solutions.

She works to ensure she leverages her resources to give back to the community. She serves as Communications Chair for The Louisville Sustainability Council, is a member of the Governor’s Minority Employment Business Affairs & Economic Development Council for the State of Kentucky, Board Member of the YMCA Camp Piomingo, Chair for the Minority Business Enterprise Input Committee for the state of Kentucky and provides guidance to numerous nonprofits throughout the community on a volunteer basis
